Happy New Year everyone! Whew! 2021 ended quickly and 2022 has started off with a bang!
I hope your holidays were healthy and spent with loved ones. We enjoyed a very active day with our kids and grandkids. Aside from the gifts, we played games, ran around like chickens with our heads cut off, and ate ribeye and Alaskan King Crab legs. There's nothing quite as spectacular as watching our grandkids enjoy Christmas and spending time with them.
To get the year started off right, we are headed to DisneyWorld with our son, daughter-in-love, and 3 youngest grandsons (that was their Christmas gift)! Everyone is very excited...we leave in less than a week. We will caravan there and spend the night in Mobile or Pensacola before arriving for a fun time! The boys are all old enough and tall enough to go on any ride they want, and they'll remember it. :) We plan to go to Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, and Universal Studios. Plus we are going to go on an air-boat ride in the Everglades. An action-packed week for sure.
I am grateful for these times. The grands are growing up so fast. They are all approaching the age where they don't want to hang with Papa and Grammy (the older 2 are already there). That's as it should be. So we treasure each visit, each trip, each sleepover, each get-together, and find immense joy watching them grow into the amazing adults we know they will be.
