Meet Cy-Mon (the seal-point) and Zena (the snowshoe), two Siamese kittens we just adopted!
They are 6 months and 7 months old, respectively, and they are so sweet!
We adopted them from the Austin Siamese Rescue organization. They are not siblings but they bonded with each other at the foster home where they were staying.
Our previous cat, Mali Suda, crossed the rainbow bridge 2 1/2 years ago. She was almost 14 and we have missed her. What a feisty, independent girl she was.
We knew that when the time came for us to get another cat, we would get two so they could keep each other company when we're away from home. Now seemed like the perfect time, and these two were the perfect cats for us.
They acclimated quickly and keep us on our toes (having two cats is quite different than having one) but we're enjoying them so much.
There's something about having a sweet fur-baby...maybe it's their unconditional love or how they look at you with such trust whenever they see you. Possibly it's the joy in having them snuggle. For me, it's all of the above, and more.
